Teaming Up with UBS and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in Mexico!
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team join forces to celebrate the return of F1 in Mexico and the cultural highlight of the autumn at Museo Jumex.
UBS celebrates two of its Global Partnerships converging in Mexico. The Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative will be featured on the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team cars driving the race this weekend.
For the first time ever, the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, UBS and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation are teaming up in a unique effort to unite sport and culture. After 23 years the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MEXICO is back and at the same time the Guggenheim is presenting for the first time in Mexico an exhibition dedicated to Latin American art at the Jumex. Reason enough for UBS to bring both of these global partners together to reveal the F1 car featuring the Guggenheim UBS MAP project logo.

The exhibition takes place in the framework of the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative. Inaugurated in April 2012, the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative is a multiyear collaboration that charts contemporary art practice in three geographic regions – South and Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East and North Africa – and encompasses curatorial residencies, international touring exhibitions, audience-driven education programming, and acquisitions for the Guggenheim’s permanent collection.
