The big numbers from the first half of our 2018 F1 adventure...
The Team - Stats & Milestones
The 2018 season has presented the team with one of its biggest challenges yet, with fierce competition from Ferrari and Red Bull. But, despite this, we've managed to emerge from the first part of the year with the most wins (5) and pole positions (6) of any team.
From Australia to Hungary, we've picked up 14 podium places, taken 13 front row grid slots and set four fastest race laps. In terms of raced laps, between them Lewis and Valtteri have amassed the most with of 1,424 - and they're also at the top of the table when it comes to races led (10 in total).
A number of milestones have been reached by the team this season along the way. China was the 100th race our cars have led, while later in the year we picked up our 90th pole position (in Spain). Victory in Germany was the team's 80th in F1, while at the same race we also hit 60 fastest laps.
Mercedes-Benz power has hit further landmarks already in 2018, including the most podiums (15, tied with Ferrari) of any Power Unit manufacturer in F1.
Mercedes-powered cars have also hit the lead in a chart-topping 10 Grands Prix. From the 12 races so far, 4,015 laps have been raced by Mercedes Power Units and 289 of those have been in the lead.
In terms of milestones, MB-power hit a remarkable 300th race on the podium in France, following that up with a 175th pole position in Austria.
At the next race in Great Britain, the third and final of the triple header, MB-power achieved 250 races on the front row. Hungary was the 450th start in F1 as a Power Unit manufacturer.
Lewis Hamilton - Stats & Milestones
There are many reasons why Lewis is leading the Drivers' Championship (albeit by a small margin) after 12 races - but perhaps the key has been consistency. This becomes even more obvious when you look into the stats from his 2018 season so far.
From 12 races, he has won five and started on pole five times too, the most of any driver. He's also leading the way for podium finishes (9) and is tied with Sebastian Vettel for most front row starts (7).
The four-time World Champion has raced the most laps of anyone this year with 738 and has led 232 of those. Of the races this year, he's led eight, which means he's tied with Vettel with at the top of the table.
He's reached quite a few milestones during the course of the season so far, including his 100th start for the Mercedes F1 team in Bahrain (he's now up to 110, which is the same number of starts he reached with McLaren).
China was his 28th consecutive points finish, breaking Kimi Räikkönen's record. He upped that to 33 races before the run came to an end with a mechanical retirement in Austria. Pole in France was his 75th and at Silverstone he hit 50 poles for the Mercedes F1 team.
He also reached 125 podiums in Germany and 125 front row starts in Hungary. Impressive stuff!
Valtteri Bottas - Stats & Milestones
Valtteri has been outstanding this season - but unfortunately the stats don't show the whole picture.
He's yet to add to his win tally this year, but he's made five appearances on the podium, scored a pole position and been on the front row six times.
The Finn has set the fastest lap three times and hit the lead in five races, leading 57 laps in total. He's completed 686 racing laps overall - a low tally owed largely to poor fortune.
One major milestone, however, was reaching 100 F1 starts, which he did in China. A few races later, in Spain, he scored his 25th podium and picked up his 10th front row start in Canada.
Austria was his fifth pole position in total. It was also his second in Austria and third front row start in the country, becoming his most successful Saturday venue.
