The Hungarian story so far...

  • 2010: The 2010 Hungarian Grand Prix wasn't one to remember for Nico Rosberg. He retired on lap 15.

  • 2010: Michael Schumacher fought hard but couldn't manage to score points for the team. He finished P11.

  • 2011: A gearbox problem saw Michael retire from the race in 2011.

  • 2011: Meanwhile, Nico scored points for the team by finishing in ninth in his 100th F1 race.

  • 2012: Michael would unfortunately fail to finish once again at the 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix.

  • 2012: A single point was all the team would take back home from Budapest that year. Nico came home P10.

  • 2013: With two laps to go, Nico had to retire from the race in 2013.

  • 2013: But Lewis took his maiden race win with the Silver Arrows!

  • 2014: Nico scored his 10th career Pole Position on Saturday in 2014.

  • 2014: But an early Safety Car deployment disadvantaged the top-4 drivers and, in the end, Lewis (P3) and Nico (P4) had to fight hard to make up for lost places.

  • 2015: The 2015 Hungarian Grand Prix was a chaotic race.

  • 2015: The result - after a puncture, a penalty and a spin between them - saw Lewis finish P6 with Nico P8.

  • 2016: Nico ran Lewis close in 2016, finishing less than two seconds behind his teammate in P2 - the third 1-2 finish of the season for the team.

  • 2016: But, three years after claiming his maiden win for Mercedes at this circuit, Lewis claimed the Hungarian Grand Prix victory once again.
