The team is pleased to announce its participation in this year’s Top Gear Live Festival in Durban this June! Sam Bird will be driving our demo car around the 2.4km street circuit and is looking forward to the event: “It’s a great the opportunity to drive our Silver Arrow F1 car through the streets of Durban.
Any event where the fans can really get close to the car and experience the noise and power for themselves is fantastic, and we’re all excited about travelling to South Africa in June. Everyone at the factory watches Top Gear regularly and I’m sure it will be a great event!”
Never far from the action Top Gear’s tame racing driver; the Stig will be clocking up times on the Top Gear Festival leader board with some thrilling power laps in two of this year’s ultimate hypercars – a Lamborghini Aventador, the first of its kind to arrive on South African soil and a McLaren MP4/12.
This year’s Top Gear Live Festival is expected to attract tens of thousands of petrol-heads keen to see a Formula One car in action for the first time in Durban; world famous presenters; guest drivers; legends and celebrities in action. Visitors are encouraged to book early so as not to miss the most exciting event on this year’s entertainment and motoring calendar.
