Ross Brawn and Nick Fry were honoured at the 2010 Sports Industry Awards in London last night with The Marsh Leadership in Sport Award. Nick attended the prestigious ceremony on behalf of the pair whilst Ross was overseeing the team's first day of practice at the Monaco Grand Prix. The event was held at London's Battersea Evolution and attended by 1500 high-profile sports people and industry figures.
Nick was presented with the Award by Alistair Campbell following the team's success in its former guise of Brawn GP in winning the 2009 FIA Formula One World Constructors' and Drivers' Championships. Other winners on the night included Sir Alex Ferguson, who received the Virgin Active Outstanding Contribution to British Sport Award from England team manager Fabio Capello, and Brendan Foster who was presented with the Jaguar Lifetime Achievement Award by athletics legends Haile Gebrselassie and Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson.
