About the Role:

We have an exciting opening for a Junior Race Team Support Technician to join our factory-based Race Team Department reporting directly to the Race Team Project Coordinator. To maintain and develop all travelling pit equipment, with a key focus on maximising vehicle performance and improving end user efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Supporting all other members of the Race Team with composites, fabrication and machining of new and existing pit equipment related projects.

  • Assisting with the build and servicing of pit equipment assemblies.

  • Machining of small new components and modifying existing pit equipment assemblies

  • Proactively maintain the good quality of components and continuously look for opportunities of improvement and innovationon current processes

  • Actively assisting with day to day factory based Race Team activities

  • Some travel to race events may be required

What You'll Bring:

  • An enthusiastic individual eager to learn on the job and have a high attention to detail with a can do attitude.

  • Must have proven experience in composite fitting, fabricating and machining skills to a high standard

  • Have the ability to interpret engineering drawings

  • Welding experience would be an advantage but not essential.

  • Demonstrable experience working both independently and within a highly collaborative team.

  • Good inter-personal skills and an effective communicator with the ability to manage workload and timescalesto meet strict deadlines.

  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft office and I.T would be an advantage
