Join us for a year-long placement from the end of June 2026 to the end of July 2027

As an Industrial Placement in Car Build:
The Car Build Department is responsible for the assembly of most major components that make up our race cars. As a key member of this team, you will directly support our various departments with a wide range of tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
The design of components such as special tooling and parts packaging
Servicing and calibration of department equipment (including interaction with outside suppliers)
Car Build process development
The auditing of various Build related documents
Successful candidates will:
Have a strong academic background in a Mechanical/Aero/Motorsports engineering discipline
Be conversant with Solidworks, Siemens NX, Fusion 360 or similar design software
Be confident communication skills
Be comfortable with Excel, Word & Python
Have at least one year remaining on your current course or be enrolled on your next course* from the point at which you start your placement with us (Please note that if you will be enrolled on a Masters or PhD course you will need to be able to evidence enrolment to confirm eligibility)
Take full ownership of their work, driving projects forward with initiative and independence
Be adaptable, have a proactive mindset, a collaborative approach and thrive in a team environment
Show determination and resilience when facing challenges
Have keen attention to detail
Possess an analytical and inquisitive approach
Relish challenges and enjoy pushing for continuous improvement
