About the Role:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for aGraduate Build Production Engineerto join our dynamic Operations team. This newly formed group is focused on driving process improvements across our Car Build areas, enhancing data accuracy, and increasing productivity and efficiency in the assembly and servicing of on-car hardware.

As a graduate engineer, you will support the Lead Build Production Engineer in shaping how we build and service our F1 cars to the highest standards of quality. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone passionate about engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of automated processes across hydraulics, composites, transmission, and heat rejection systems.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including research into new technologies and methods.

  • Help develop visualisation tools to track build status and progress, against measurable KPIs.

  • Participate in maintaining documentation such as SOPs, calibration records, and ISO standards.

  • Work with the ERP team to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

  • Support car feedback processes to enhance reliability and performance.

  • Assist in scaled project planning and execution under guidance.

  • Apply a continuous improvement mindset to optimise our build processes, removing non-value add tasks.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Degree (or expected degree) in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering (2.1 minimum grade or equivalent)

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing or build processes (internships or project experience desirable).

  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as CATIA V5 or 3DX is a plus.

  • Have technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL or Python. As well as data visualisation software such as PowerBI

  • An evidenced interest in emerging technology, with knowledge of agentic AI, APIs, and machine learning

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and innovation.
