Career Overview

Anthony Davidson

The British former racing driver competed in Formula One between 2002 and 2008 with teams including Minardi, BAR/Honda, and Super Aguri, making 24 Grand Prix starts.​

After leaving Formula One, Anthony transitioned to endurance racing, becoming one of the leading drivers in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).

He won the 2014 FIA World Endurance Drivers’ Championship with Toyota, securing 13 wins in the LMP1 category and finishing runner‑up at the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans. He continued competing through 2021 before retiring from racing.​

Davidson began karting at age eight, winning multiple national, titles before progressing into Formula Ford and Formula Three, where he claimed several championships.

Alongside his racing career, he served extensively as a test and simulator driver for BAR, Honda, Brawn GP, and later the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team for which he has become Development Driver. ​
