Five Reasons We're Excited for Miami

Episode III of the Miami Grand Prix takes place this weekend, and if the first two editions of the race are anything to go by, it promises to be another energetic and colourful weekend in Florida.

Once again - on track and off - there will be LOTS going on. Here is what you can expect, and all the reasons you should be excited for the week ahead.

Mega Miami Merch

A vibrant and electric city deserves a merch drop to match. That is where Mad Dog Jones and PUMA come in.

The new limited-edition collection is the perfect merge of motorsport and contemporary art, combining the retro-futurism of Mad Dog Jones with the Thermal Vision of Miami.

Each piece in this one-of-a-kind collaboration reflects the exhilarating speed and adrenaline-fueled excitement of the racetrack.

The Return of F1 Academy

Following a highly anticipated and successful season opener in Saudi Arabia, F1 Academy returns this weekend for its second round of 2024.

Junior driver Doriane Pin will be in action and looking to build on a positive weekend in Jeddah in March, when the 20-year-old claimed two poles, a race win, and had another agonisingly taken away for a post-race infringement.

The Iron Dames racer sits third in third in the standings before this weekend's event in the 305.

F1 Academy will appear of the F1 support bill seven times in 2024, with some iconic racing venues on the calendar.

Miami Club

Imagine getting the chance to watch a Formula One Grand Prix up close, with a luxurious two-storey suite and a terraced garden as the backdrop?

With our 2024 Miami Grand Prix Miami Club experience, that's exactly what our team will be offering over the race weekend.

After an incredibly successful and immensely enjoyable first two editions, our Miami club returns this year bigger and better than ever, providing guests with a weekend of music, hands-on behind the scenes entertainment, and of course, a seat like no other to enjoy the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon.

And when the engines have fallen silent on Sunday night, our party won't stop. Guests can get ready for star-studded DJ set by legendary British House and Techno club DJ Carl Cox.

Sunshine State Sprint

A city known for its atmosphere and energy definitely deserves a Sprint race, and this year Miami will host the alternative weekend format for the first time.

While the track may not be as established on the F1 calendar as venues such as Monza and Mexico City, the back straight sees cars reach some of the highest speeds of the season, topping out at over 330km/h.

Couple that with the fast-flowing esses at the start of the lap and three heavy braking zones, and the Miami International Autodrome has all the makings of a perfect Sprint venue. This will be the second of six Sprint weekends in 2024, following on from the first in China two weeks ago.

Three-Pointed Stars

The first two races around the Hard Rock have been somewhat of a magnet for the megastars, with the F1 paddock having played host to a series of celebs from the world of sport and beyond.

From pit stop practice with Tom Cruise, to golf with Tom Brady and hot laps with Roger Federer, the team have been lucky enough to welcome some of the most recognisable faces in the world into the garage.

And who could forget when Lewis met A$AP Rocky and gave him a tour of W14 in 2023.

For 2024, you can be sure there will plenty of superstars knocking about to enjoy the three days of action. Keep your eyes peeled across our socials - you never know who might turn up!
