Set in the heart of Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, the Trofeo Bandini celebrations provided a fitting backdrop for a special day in Kimi Antonelli’s young career. From the historic streets of Imola and the passionate welcome in Faenza, to the final presentation in the picturesque town of Brisighella, the event celebrated both the region’s deep motorsport heritage and one of F1’s most exciting emerging talents.
Kimi became the 33rd recipient of the award, following in the footsteps of names including Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, and his Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 teammate George Russell, who was honoured in 2024. For Kimi, receiving the award on home soil made the occasion even more meaningful, as fans gathered across Emilia-Romagna to celebrate the Italian driver.
From meeting local authorities in Imola to greeting supporters in Piazza del Popolo in Faenza and receiving the trophy in Brisighella’s Piazza Marconi, our photographers were there to capture the best moments from a memorable day. Check out the gallery.
