Last week, Mulberry Schools Trust students returned to our factory for a celebratory lunch and tour with their families and friends.
For the past six years, we have partnered with Mulberry Schools Trust to deliver an extracurricular programme that helps young people explore STEM subjects and consider careers in engineering. Each year, our team attends the Mulberry STEM Academy graduation, where we recognise outstanding pupils who have excelled in the programme and shown the qualities and determination to become the engineers of the future.
During the visit, the pupils, who all received special commendation awards at their graduation ceremonies, introduced their families and friends to the team members who had supported their engineering ambitions, shared career advice with them, and taught practical skills during work experience placements. They also enjoyed lunch with senior colleagues, including Director of Car Design Giacomo Tortora, who has visited the students' schools in London and followed their career journeys.
As our longest-running Social Impact initiative, the Mulberry STEM Academy continues to make a meaningful difference in the communities of its pupils. An increasing number of students feel inspired and supported to pursue higher education, follow their ambitions and create opportunities for future generations.
Take a look back at some of our key moments with the pupils below.
