“After a tough weekend in Belgium, we are looking to put in a more competitive showing in Hungary,” Toto said, heading into round 14 of the campaign.
“Our performances in recent races have not been up to our standards, and we have work planned to both understand why that has been and get on top of it this weekend.
“The team has been flat out in the days since Spa to optimise this work as we look to head into the summer shutdown with a positive result in Budapest.”
After the conclusion of Sunday’s race, the teams will return to their bases for one final week before heading off for the compulsory two-week summer shutdown period.
F1 returns from Monday, 25 August, with drivers and teams preparing for another double-header at Zandvoort and Monza.
