Luna Stars on Busy Weekend for Juniors

Junior Driver Luna Fluxa enjoyed a stellar weekend in the Champions of the Future Academy karting series, with a P1 and P2 finish in Valencia.

Having taken two wins at the same venue a few weeks ago, Luna again demonstrated a great turn of speed, and now leads the championship by 48 points.

It was a busy week of racing elsewhere for our Junior Programme, with several of them in action across their respective series.

At the Hockenheimring, Doriane Pin competed in her first weekend in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

Doriane will be complimenting her F1 Academy season with races in FRECA and will be driving with the Iron Dames outfit.

Over the course of her debut FRECA weekend and she enjoyed some exciting battles during the races. She qualified P18 and P20 but struggled a little more in the races, finishing P23 in both.

Meanwhile over in the UK, Yuanpu Cui had his second British F4 weekend at Brands Hatch and scored a solid haul of points with P8 in Race 1 and P5 in Race 3.

Meanwhile in France at Paul Ricard last week, Alex Powell had two more days of F4 testing. After both days of track action, Alex had set the second fastest time and was on the pace throughout.

Now attention turns to Formula 2’s back-to-back weekends in Imola and Monaco, which are next up for Kimi Antonelli.
