Mick to Drive the W02 at Goodwood FOS in Dad’s Iconic Helmet

From one Schumacher to another, Mick will wear Michael's iconic red race helmet and 2011 race overalls to drive the W02 at Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend

This weekend, racing fans around the world will witness a tribute like no other as Mick Schumacher, the son of legendary Formula One driver Michael Schumacher, takes the wheel of the Mercedes MGP W02 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

To pay homage to his father's mega career, Mick will sport Michael's iconic red race helmet and don his 2011 race overalls.

Mick will take to the Goodwood hill in the W02 on both Saturday and Sunday of the FOS weekend, with a final run in the W12 on Sunday afternoon.

The Mercedes MGP W02 was driven by seven-time World Drivers' Champion Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg in the 2011 Formula One season. It's a car that not only looks great, but it's naturally-aspirated, V8 engine will sound incredible echoing through the festival.

If you're there in person, be sure not to miss it, otherwise turn into Goodwood's official livestream via YouTube.
