Your Base

Your home will be here in Brackley, where we are currently creating a state-of-the-art, sustainable F1 home of the future. Here, you will be able to learn from the best in the business when it comes to Formula One.

While on placement, you’ll learn how to work in a highly efficient, collaborative team. Everyone contributes their tenth of a second in our team – including you. Together, we go all in when it comes to learning and growing as individuals, and as a team.

What Are the Requirements?

To be eligible for our summer placement programme you must:​

  • have at least one year remaining on your current course or be enrolled on your next course* from the point at which you start your placement with us.​

  • be available to take up a summer placement from June 2027 to September 2027.​

  • be able to be onsite at our Factory in Brackley 5 days per week.​

*Please note that if you will be enrolled on a Masters or PhD course you will need to be able to evidence enrolment to confirm eligibility.

FAQs

When is the 2027 application window?

Applications for our 2026 Apprentice roles have now closed. Check back in February 2027 for our next round of opportunities.

Am I allowed to make more than one application??

Yes. Should you feel there are multiple openings that could be suitable we welcome multiple applications.

I have now completed my university degree. Can I still apply?

It is a mandatory requirement that our placement students have at least one year remaining on their course from the point at which they start their placement with us. Each placement also has its own dedicated eligibility criteria – please refer to this before applying.

Do I need work experience to apply for the IP programme?

No, prior experience is not an essential requirement to be considered for the Industrial Placement opportunities. We are looking for your academic knowledge and skills, we will support you with training and development.

What are the values of the team that I will be assessed against?

Where are the roles based?

All roles will be based at our factory in Brackley, Northamptonshire in the United Kingdom.

What are the remote working options at the team?

For our early careers hires we require significant in-person working to facilitate learning collaboration and a sense of belonging with the team. Industrial placements are expected to be on site at our factory 5 days per week.

What will my starting salary be?

Information on starting salaries for all our Early Careers programmes will be discussed during the interview process.

What is my holiday entitlement?

The annual holiday entitlement is 25 days and for your first year will be prorated based on your start date.

What support is available for relocation?

Depending upon the role and situation we may consider relocation support. This can be discussed during the application process.

Can I use generative AI to help me with my application and online tests?

To ensure fairness and authenticity, we ask that all responses are written personally and if any generative AI is used, it should be used only as a tool and not to formulate your full response. Use of AI in the online testing stage is prohibited as it undermines the integrity of the results and may be flagged for review.
