We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partnering Manager - Operations to join our Finance team.

Reporting to the Head of Inventory - Finance, you will provide strategic financial insight and business partnering support across our inventory supply chain. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Manufacturing and Finance, you will help drive data-led decision making, optimise business performance and ensure alignment with Financial Regulations.

This role combines commercial finance, financial planning and reporting, systems improvement and stakeholder management within a fast-paced, high-performance environment. You will play a critical role in supporting operational decision-making while helping to shape the future development of our inventory finance processes and systems.

This position is based at our headquarters in Brackley, UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning, forecasting and reporting activities across the inventory supply chain, ensuring alignment with operational priorities.

  • Provide insightful financial analysis, reporting and recommendations to support business performance, cost optimisation and strategic decision making.

  • Develop a strong understanding of inventory-related P&L, balance sheet and cashflow performance, ensuring key drivers are clearly communicated to stakeholders.

  • Partner with senior operational and manufacturing stakeholders, including the Operations Director, Manufacturing Director, Head of Programmes and Cost Analyst teams.

  • Identify and support Financial Regulation optimisation initiatives relating to inventory supply chain expenditure and processes.

  • Partner with Commercial Finance to ensure robust processes underpinning non-F1 supply chain activity and inventory dispatches.

  • Collaborate closely with the wider Inventory Finance team on forecasting, planning and development spend activities.

  • Drive process improvement initiatives through ERP optimisation and business transformation programmes.

  • Act as the senior finance representative for ERP-driven process enhancements, ensuring finance requirements are appropriately represented.

  • Support and oversee capital expenditure planning and approval processes relating to inventory investment.

  • Oversee Financial Regulation audit requirements and support statutory audit activities relating to inventory.

  • Lead, develop and support two direct reports, fostering strong financial controls, reporting quality and data integrity.

About You

Essential Skills and Experience

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with significant post-qualified experience in Finance Business Partnering or a similar commercial finance role.

  • Demonstrable experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making within a complex organisation.

  • Strong financial planning, forecasting and reporting expertise.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance attention to detail with a broader commercial perspective.

  • Proven ability to build effective relationships across multiple departments and disciplines.

  • Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience leading or developing finance team members.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience working within a manufacturing or inventory management environment.

  • Knowledge of Financial Regulations or highly regulated operating environments.

  • SAP or ERP system experience.

  • Experience supporting business transformation and process improvement initiatives.
