B uild Systems Assembly Technician

About the role:

We are looking for a Build Systems Assembly Technician to join our team on a 12 month contract.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for building & servicing of safety-critical car assemblies and systems ensuring that all of the procedures and quality checks are followed.

• Key assemblies include Uprights & Carbon Suspension, Driver controls, Hydraulic Ride Systems, Cooling Systems, Hydraulic & Fuel manifolds, Steering, Gearbox Sub-Assemblies.

• Carry out other similar skilled duties.

• Ensuring builds are to latest specification.

• Use SAP to create build sheets and ensure assembled components have enough available mileage to complete the planned event.

• Manage, in conjunction with other team members, spares, lifting and servicing of car parts.

• Assist with Non F1 customer projects.

• Responsible for keeping a clean and tidy working environment in all areas within Mercedes GP Operations Centre.

Candidate profile:

• Experience in F1 or similar industry.

• Good knowledge of quality systems.

• Strong computer skills.

• SAP experience
