"Congratulations, Doriane Pin! You are the 2025 F1 ACADEMY Champion!"
Doriane has done it! After a thrilling 13-lap battle, she crossed the finish line at the F1 ACADEMY season finale in Las Vegas to become the series’ third champion. She follows in the footsteps of Marta García and Abbi Pulling, who claimed the titles in the first two F1 ACADEMY seasons. George Russell, Kimi Antonelli and Toto Wolff were among the first to congratulate her in parc fermé after the race.
Starting the final race of the year from fourth on the grid, one place ahead of her title rival Maya Weug, the Mercedes Junior Driver had her fate in her own hands. The situation in the championship fight was clear before lights out: Weug needed to win the race, set the fastest lap and hope that Doriane finished no higher than seventh.
After an early safety car deployment, Doriane overtook Alba Larsen midway through the race to move up to third place. Weug responded shortly afterwards, passing Doriane three laps from the end. What followed was an intense three-way fight for second place between Alisha Palmowski, Weug and Doriane.
In the end, Doriane took the chequered flag in fifth, just behind Larsen – more than enough to seal the title. Chloe Chambers won the race ahead of Palmowski and Weug.
By finishing in the points once again in her final F1 ACADEMY appearance, Doriane extended her remarkable streak of scoring in every single race of her F1 ACADEMY career.
