The Team is excited to announce a new chapter in its long-term relationship with Meta, introducing Meta AI as an Official Team Partner.

This collaboration marks a significant step forward, bringing Meta's latest advancements in artificial intelligence to the world of F1 and to fans around the globe.

The partnership brings together the Team, known for its focus on technological advancement and performance in motorsport, and Meta, which is dedicated to advancing AI research and building products that enable people to create, connect, and explore their interests.

Toto said: “Partnering with Meta AI introduces new capabilities that support how we think, prepare, and perform as a team.

“The ability to process data more efficiently and uncover deeper insights is a valuable asset in a sport where success is determined by marginal gains. It’s a natural fit to work with a partner who shares our commitment to continuous improvement and precision.”

Alex Schultz, CMO & VP of Analytics at Meta, added: "Bringing Meta AI to Formula 1 with Mercedes means fans can engage with the sport in smarter, more personalized ways—right from the apps they already love. As an F1 fan myself, I’m excited to see how people use AI to get closer to the action and connect with the sport like never before."

With Meta AI joining the team, F1 fans will have powerful new tools to enhance their experience both on and off the track. Meta AI—the assistant used by billions across Meta’s apps and devices—is designed to be intelligent and personal to you. It’s seamlessly integrated into the Meta platforms F1 fans already use, helping them engage with the sport in more meaningful ways.

Whether you’re following the action on Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp or the Meta AI app, fans can use Meta AI to analyse race strategies, share predictions with friends, create and remix your race day images and videos, or revisit some of the season’s most exciting moments. Meta AI can bring contextual insights and interactive features to every conversation.

This partnership builds on a strong foundation of innovation and shared values. Over the past two years, the Team has integrated Meta’s technology to connect the team and its fans with WhatsApp, the world's leading end-to-end encrypted private messaging service, which the team relies on to collaborate, champion one another, and maintain crucial real-time coordination.

As part of this exciting new chapter, George and Kimi’s race helmets will now feature the Meta AI logo prominently on top—a bold design made to pop on the grid.

The new looks will be first seen on the racetrack during FP1 at the United States Grand Prix in Austin on Friday October 17, offering fans a first look at this striking symbol of partnership and shared vision.

Richard Sanders, Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Meta AI into our partner ecosystem. Their expertise in artificial intelligence opens new ways to connect with emerging audiences and deepen engagement with our global fanbase — helping us better understand, anticipate, and respond to fans across the globe.”
