  • Team announces the use of an all‑electric Mercedes-Benz Trucks eActros 600 to cover the nine races of the 2026 European season - a distance of approx. 15,000 km.

  • The Mercedes-Benz Trucks eActros 600, a market leader for long-haul electric transport and rapid charging, will be used to move key operational infrastructure to the European races.

  • Arriving in Monaco on 1 June, ahead of this weekend’s Grand Prix, the 100% electric truck joins our wider logistics fleet powered by HVO100 biofuel.

Ahead of the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix, we are pleased to announce the deployment of an all‑electric Mercedes‑Benz Trucks eActros 600 to cover all nine European races of the 2026 Formula One season.

Transporting one of our race trailers, the eActros 600 will join our fleet of HVO100-powered race and marketing trucks, and is expected to cover approximately 15,000km1 over the next three months, completing the European leg of the season in Madrid in mid-September.

This deployment builds on successful journeys during the 2025 season, including the initial pilot to the British Grand Prix, and an industry first when our W16 race cars were transported from Brackley to Zandvoort for the Dutch Grand Prix on electric power.

From Monaco to Madrid, extending the use of the eActros 600 across all nine European races demonstrates growing confidence in the reliability of long-haul electric technology for a global sporting calendar.

The Mercedes‑Benz Trucks eActros 600, which has successfully completed its first journey from Brackley to Monaco, covering over 1600km, is responsible for transporting key operational infrastructure including our communications office, doctor and physio rooms.

As a global sport, logistics remain one of the most challenging areas of our carbon footprint to decarbonise. Expanding the use of the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks eActros 600 diversifies our portfolio of lower emission alternatives to conventional diesel and aids our long‑term Scope 3 emissions reduction, supporting our target to achieve Race Team Control Net Zero by 2030.

This initiative forms an integral part of our broader sustainable logistics programme, including the industry-leading rollout of HVO100 biofuel supported by our Title and Technical Partner PETRONAS. In 2025, we achieved 99% coverage of HVO100 across our race and marketing trucks for the European season, which saved more than 410 tCO2e.

Alice Ashpitel, Head of Sustainability, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team

“We are realising our ambition of deploying the Mercedes-Benz Trucks eActros 600 across all nine European races, demonstrating our commitment to accelerating decarbonisation in some of the hardest‑to‑abate areas of our operations. As a team, we are committed to engineering change on and off the track, and it’s exciting to see how quickly we have moved from pilot journeys to a full rollout.”

Ash Armstrong, eConsultancy Manager, Daimler Truck UK

"We are proud to be pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Formula One logistics once again. With the eActros 600 supporting the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team at all nine European races this season, this project is a powerful demonstration that long-haul electric transport is not a future ambition, it's a reality today. Building on the success of last year’s programme, this collaboration showcases both the capabilities of the eActros 600 and the rapid evolution of Europe’s charging infrastructure. It’s further evidence of how Mercedes-Benz Trucks is helping to redefine sustainable transport, not only in the demanding world of Formula One, but across the logistics industry as a whole."

The Mercedes-Benz Trucks eActros 600, equipped with a powerful 600kWh (Usable) Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery and a minimum range of 500km per charge, sets a new standard in sustainable transport. Thanks to its rapid charging capabilities, allowing the trucks to charge from 20% to 80% in 25 minutes1 using the megawatt charging system (MCS), the eActros 600 delivers the efficient performance and logistical reliability that aligns with the pace and precision required in Formula One.
