SAP hosted an exclusive business event for 42 of their most valuable customers, including AI entrepreneurs and businesses that utilise or are interested in the SAP AI platform. The event and presentations delivered over a two-day programme were led by common themes such as data-driven decision making, machine learning, performance optimisation, strategy, teamwork and engineering. The themes and discussion topics leveraged the synergies between SAP and the Team.
The Structure of the Event:
Day One was set at the Team’s Heritage facility, kicking the event off with various presentations from SAP representatives, external, and customer speakers. To build on that and bring further excitement into the day, guests participated in a Pit-Stop Challenge, demonstrating the importance of teamwork. To conclude the day, event participants were taken on tours of the Heritage facility to dive deeper into the world of F1.
Day Two concluded the event with insights by SAP and external speakers, as well as a presentation by Michael Taylor, the Team’s IT Director. He provided some insight into how the Team utilises data and AI within its operations. After the talks, guests were taken on a factory tour around the premises, delved into group discussions before finishing the day by listening to a fireside chat between Rob Thomas, Chief Operating Officer at the Team, and the SAP host.
