Carrie Donaghy is the General Counsel and Company Secretary at Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team.
Originally from Northern Ireland, Carrie studied law In Newcastle before joining the team in 2013 as its first ever trainee solicitor. Over the years, she progressed through senior legal roles, including Head of Commercial Legal and Motorsport Legal Director, before taking on her current position in 2024.
Carrie oversees all legal and compliance matters for the team, from commercial agreements to complex regulatory issues, and has played a key role in driver and sponsor negotiations. Recognized as a trailblazer for women in motorsport, she has been featured in industry interviews and nominated for awards celebrating her leadership and impact.
