AMD’s EMEA Sales and Marketing Summit, which hosted around 350 attendees from across the EMEA Region, took place in late May 2024 in Munich. The theme defining the two-day event was "Winning as a Team". AMD invited Bradley Lord, Team Representative and Chief Communications Officer, to give a 30-minute keynote speech about what winning as a team means for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team.

Activation Overview

AMD used its two-day event as an opportunity for regional sales and marketing teams to share best practices and plan strategically for the year ahead. The event focused on AI, specifically cloud-to-endpoint solutions and data centre consolidation.

In his keynote, Bradley talked extensively about the concept of sponsorship within F1 and the importance of shared standards and values with all our partners. He highlighted the impact that the integration of AMD technology has made on the Team, including a 20% increase in the speed of our aerodynamics testing systems, which allows the Team to test solutions faster than ever before.

To conclude his keynote, Bradley spoke about the spirit of teamwork within the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, emphasizing the vast number of individuals—each with their area of expertise—working behind the scenes to support the two cars on track. Highlighting the collective commitment and shared ambition that drives the team, Bradley made a special note of the mentality and dedication required to achieve success together.
