The Role

We have an exciting opportunity in our Marketing Team for a Visual Brand Manager.

This role will be central to delivering the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team brand identity. Working with the Marketing Department and wider business to deliver and develop our brand identity and ensuring consistency across all touch points.

The successful candidate will be passionate about sports marketing and branding, a cool pair of hands that can strike the right balance between delivering to brand guidelines while also bending to the speed and development of a world-leading sports team.

You will work closely with our partner ecosystem and stakeholders to ensure alignment and positive engagement with our team identity, while owning the end-to-end delivery of brand assets across suppliers, production timelines and internal approvals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a key player in an active, engaged and enthusiastic team focused on the delivery of clear objectives

  • Work with the Senior Brand Identity Manager to refine, develop and grow our team brand identity

  • Act as creator and gatekeeper of team branding and style guidelines, educating internal and external audiences on their use and implementation across marketing and company assets

  • Manage brand approvals of both team and partner creative

  • Manage the delivery of the team’s visual identity across all materials and assets, working with sub-teams to ensure timely and consistent rollout, selecting the appropriate visualisation for each audience and use

  • Identify new areas internally and externally that require development or rebrand across physical and digital spaces

  • Take an active role in evaluating and developing visual strategies and physical assets, ensuring alignment with Mercedes-Benz and partner brands

  • Monitor trends and developments in sports brands to ensure the team’s activities remain leading edge

  • Work with the Insights team to monitor the team’s brand recognition and ensure activities align with brand values

  • Support the onboarding of new partners, creating and delivering presentations on our brand visual identity

  • Act as a central point of contact across departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on brand execution

About You

Essential

  • Degree educated, or equivalent

  • Relationship Management Skills

  • Strong understanding and experience of brand identity management

  • Acute attention to detail and delivering consistently to high brand standards

  • Experience of working within a creative or brand sub team in a marketing department

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team mindset

  • Thrives working in a fast-paced and pressurised environment with high levels of drive and enthusiasm, multi-tasking across numerous ongoing projects.

  • Organised, with good admin and time management skills

  • Bringing a proactive and inquisitive approach, constructively challenging processes to continuously improve brand execution.

  • Flexibility in hours and approach is required, along with the ability to work under minimum supervision with a ‘can do’ team attitude.
