TeamViewer created an initiative named SheSportTech designed to inform, excite and inspire women aged 25-35 to consider a career in sport technology.
Leveraging their partnerships with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and Manchester United FC TeamViewer created the SheSportTech Pathway programme, allowing applicants to apply for a spot to be partnered up with one of the role-models from the campaign to learn and receive guidance on their career journey in the sport tech industry.
The SheSportTech Pathway 2024 programme applications were reviewed by a panel of female judges with a vast amount of experience in sport tech, featuring the Team’s Chief People Officer Anca Raines amongst other female leaders.
The campaign is an answer to the question: “How do we increase the number of women in sports tech roles?” – with the aim of celebrating successful women who are already in these roles and, in doing so, make sports tech feel an attainable and accessible career for other women and inspire the next generation to explore a career in the sports tech industry.
